Hello everyone, it is that time of year once again: summer draws to an end and leaves fall. Old lives depart and new beginnings approach.
Once again, as a culmination of the 2024-25 art year, Gowanus Open Studios is happening October 18-19, 12-6pm.
This year’s Open Studios is special for me, as it will be my last.
After nearly 36 years of living in Brooklyn, it’s time for me to say farewell. I’ve moved my residence to Kingston, New York and my art-making practice will soon follow. This is very bittersweet for me, as I love Brooklyn so much! But all things change, and new horizons await!
At this year’s Gowanus Open Studios, I will have on hand various works I’ve made in Gowanus over the past 15 years, plus new work as a part of my ongoing “Time-Being” and “True Refuge” series.

In the spirit of new beginnings, I would really like to not have to haul all this great art to Kingston – so make me an offer! Now is your chance to own some original art at a price you can afford. Everything is for sale!
If you would like to get a preview of the works on canvas I will have on hand during Open Studios, please visit this Flickr gallery I’ve made for the event.
Gowanus Open Studios happens Saturday and Sunday, October 18-19 12 to 6pm. My studio is at Trestle Art Space, 62 18th Street, Brooklyn.
Join me in commemorating my Gowanus years and to celebrate new beginnings. Follow me on social media to stay informed of future developments!
