Born and raised in Ohio, John Azelvandre is a painter living and working in Kingston, New York. He studied music and audio engineering at the Ohio State University, before embarking on a creative voyage that has traversed the music industry, philosophy, environmental studies and education, and the visual arts. John creates landscapes and other organic forms in an experimental style ranging from expressionistic to abstract. From various angles and through multiple lenses, his work explores the relationship between the self and its environment.
