Gowanus Open Studios is just the around the corner!

We’re all very busy here in Brooklyn getting ready for Gowanus Open Studios, which is happening Saturday and Sunday, October 21-22!

But first …

You may have heard about the heavy rains and flooding we had in the neighborhood on September 29. While I was very fortunate that my studio was spared, many other artists were not so lucky. Arts Gowanus has started a fundraising effort to help artists recover and get ready for open studios. Check out the GoFundMe campaign here and consider lending a hand.

My new website is now live

One of my innumerable tasks is updating the website:

From time to time I tinker with this, but since I have a sort of love/hate relationship with technology, I don’t always update it frequently.

This time around, and possibly as an interim step, I’ve kept the site home page very minimal and let the WordPress part of the site do the heavy lifting. So on the index page there is exactly one link — which leads to everything else.

Check it out, and let me know what you think!

The Gowanus Open Studios Directory

Finally, be sure to check out the Open Studios directory!

You’ll find me at 62 18th Street, Trestle Art Space, 1st Floor, along with about 25 other artists in the building.

And be sure to check out my big mural, on Nevins and Degraw Streets (also on the Artists Directory map)! You can read about the mural project here.
