Hello everyone, it is that time of year once again: summer draws to an end and leaves fall. Old lives depart and new beginnings approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once again, as a culmination of the 2024-25 art year, Gowanus Open Studios<\/a><\/strong> is happening October 18-19, 12-6pm<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s Open Studios is special for me, as it will be my last.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After nearly 36 years of living in Brooklyn, it\u2019s time for me to say farewell. I\u2019ve moved my residence to Kingston, New York and my art-making practice will soon follow. This is very bittersweet for me, as I love Brooklyn so much! But all things change, and new horizons await!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At this year\u2019s Gowanus Open Studios, I will have on hand various works I\u2019ve made in Gowanus over the past 15 years, plus new work as a part of my ongoing \u201cTime-Being<\/strong>\u201d and \u201cTrue Refuge<\/strong>\u201d series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gowanus Open Studios<\/a><\/strong> happens Saturday and Sunday, October 18-19 12 to 6pm. My studio is at Trestle Art Space, 62 18th<\/sup> Street, Brooklyn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
